What we analyze
Checks that every table has a primary key, guaranteeing unique rows and reliable joins, and flags a schema with no secondary index at all, which slows queries down as tables grow.
Spots VARCHAR or CHAR columns declared without a length, which each database engine handles differently, and amounts stored as FLOAT or DOUBLE, recognised by column name (price, amount, total…), as these types are prone to rounding errors.
Flags tables with no NOT NULL column, multi-table schemas without a single foreign key and columns named after reserved words (order, group…): all sources of inconsistent data or fragile queries.
The analysis, built for MySQL/MariaDB syntax, reads only the CREATE TABLE statements you paste and never connects to your database: data, volumes, actual queries and normalisation are beyond its reach, and it ignores keys and indexes added with ALTER TABLE or CREATE INDEX. If queries are slowing down, or before a migration, a full audit is worthwhile.
