Explicit pricing rules Tied into your existing ERP Paperless shop floor reporting

Sales, production and management are no longer reading the same figures.

Pricing rules often live in a spreadsheet only a few people can run, orders arrive as PDFs to be keyed into the ERP by hand, and the shop floor still reports on paper. The result: quotes that need re-checking, system stock that no longer matches the shelves, and management working from figures already out of date.

Reduce manual data entry Make technical quotes reliable Connect the shop floor, sales and management Trace batches and non-conformances Equip field service engineers

The option you sell is the one the shop floor builds.

Configurator, portal, shop floor screens and service app all draw on the item master and bills of materials held in your ERP.

Technical configurator

Options, dimensions and incompatibilities become tested rules, so the price and bill of materials come out consistent.

Customer & distributor portal

Customer-specific pricing, order tracking, repeat orders and data sheets, without going through the sales office.

Shop floor, stock & quality

Production reports, stock movements and non-conformances logged at the workstation and linked to the relevant batch.

Field service app

The machine’s history and previously replaced parts to hand, and a job sheet signed by the customer, even with no connection.

What goes into production is calculated, never guessed.

In manufacturing, the data that matters usually exists already: items, bills of materials, routings, batch numbers, service history. The job is to make it reliable and connect it, not to copy it into yet another tool. We scope the work with the design office, production and quality, build the tool and its ERP synchronisation, then bring them into service in stages, line by line. Here, AI is mainly useful for reading documents that come in from outside.

Our approach in detail
01

What to automate first

Portal orders passed to the ERP, delivery notes and batch labels produced automatically, minimum-stock alerts: simple rules, written with the sales office and the stores, that can be switched off.

02

One source for each piece of data

The ERP stays the master record for items, prices and stock; new tools synchronise with it. Before any data migration, the item master is cleaned up: duplicates, descriptions, units.

03

AI reads; it does not price

Useful for pre-filling an order received as a PDF, checked before it reaches the ERP, or for suggesting the item code that matches a customer’s free-text description. Prices come from the configurator, and conformity is declared by the quality team.

Operators, storekeepers, field engineers: the tool is judged where they work.

We go and see the shop floor, the stores and engineers on customer sites: gloves, noise or a terminal used by several shifts all change how data entry has to work.
